ABOUT APPLYING TO DJORK

Djork is a Horde raiding guild on the US Dark Iron server. We are currently working on Heroic Trial of the Crusader, while still visiting Ulduar. Our standard raid times are 5:30pm, Sunday to Thursday. Weekday raids usually last 2-3 hours, weekends a bit longer. Members are expected to make at least 2 raids a week, preferably more.

Please be aware that we require you to at least meet the following criteria:

- Level 80
- Mature (18+) and competent
- Willingness to respec to whatever the guild requires
- Guild-mandatory programs/mods installed (oRA2, Omen, Deadly Boss Mods)

Applicants should have a non-probationary member of Djork as a sponsor who is willing to vouch for their ability and character. If you do not, hopefully you look good on paper.

New members earn DKP but will only be allowed to spend it on items which non-probationary members pass on.

After an entirely arbitrary amount of time that is at least a few weeks, officers will make a decision on final admission. If we feel you're a good fit and a contributing member to the guild, in you come. If not, no hard feelings. Chances are you've gotten a decent piece of loot out of it anyway.

If you have further questions about joining Djork, you can ask an officer or an appropriate class leader in game (there's a list of them at the bottom of the main page).

People we don't need

- People who think they know everything about the game. I'm sure you've read all the guides on the Internet, but we've read them too. Because you did something else in a different guild or a different server doesn't mean you have the final say on how stuff gets done. We can appreciate ideas as beating encounters are a collective effort, but it has to be done in the right spirit. Suggestions are best given via your class leader.

- Loot whores. The person who talks about getting a particular item over and over and over, or keeps making comments about what instance they want to do. A good guarantee of us never doing it.

- Drama Queens. We're pretty quiet on the Dark Iron forums and would like to keep it that way. If you feel the need to trumpet every single thing we do to the public, you're probably not going to fit in. We don't like looking like idiots on public forums (private is a different story).

- Overly sensitive. We kid around a lot. In fact, you'd be better off taking everything said as a joke than taking it seriously. Sometimes we argue or say stuff, but then we move on. If you carry a grudge or get your feelings hurt easily, then this might not be the place for you.

Of course no one thinks of themselves as the above, but it applies to a lot of people you see in the game. Please think about your personality and playstyle before applying.
